We are pleased to announce the Call for Trainers for the 1st LIAISE COST Action Training School. This exciting event will gather Ph.D. students, early-career researchers, and professionals from across Europe to explore Industrial Symbiosis (IS) and its role in fostering sustainable, circular economies.

The Training School will focus on providing participants with in-depth knowledge of Industrial Symbiosis (IS) from environmental, economic, and social perspectives. Trainers will have the opportunity to lead interactive sessions, case study analyses, and discussions, contributing to a comprehensive training experience.

Trainer Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for expert trainers in Industrial Symbiosis who can deliver the following topics:

  1. Introduction to Industrial Symbiosis: Overview of IS concepts and its alignment with circular economy principles.
  2. Economic and Environmental Benefits of IS: Exploring cost savings, carbon footprint reduction, and long-term sustainability.
  3. Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration: Strategies for successful stakeholder involvement and fostering cooperation.
  4. Policy, Regulation, and Digital Transformation: Investigating the role of policies and digital tools in IS implementation.
