Engage in Advancing Industrial Symbiosis: Join the LIAISE WG1 Workshop in Brussels!
We are excited to announce the upcoming Working Group 1 (WG1) Workshop of the LIAISE COST Action, focusing on “Industrial Symbiosis from a technical perspective: challenges and opportunities.” This workshop will take place on September 10, 2024, at the Oslo Region European Office in Brussels, Belgium.

- Registration: Free for all registered WG1 members
Call for Abstracts: We invite WG1 members to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations aligned with the workshop’s theme. Abstract submissions should focus on one or more of the following topics:
- Resource Mapping and Matching
- Technological solutions for facilitating Industrial Symbiosis
- Industry perspectives on facilitating faster implementation of Industrial Symbiosis
- Opportunities, challenges, and barriers in implementing industrial symbiosis
Important Dates:
- Abstract Submission Deadline: April 8, 2024
- Notification of Accepted Abstracts: May 8, 2024
- Final Contribution Deadline: June 14, 2024
Submission Guidelines:
- Abstracts should be 250-350 words and submitted using the provided template.
- Oral presentations: Selected speakers will have 12 minutes for presentation followed by 3 minutes of Q&A.
- Poster presentations: Posters should be prepared in PDF format (120×90 cm, vertical layout) and submitted by June 14, 2024.
