Last week, members of the LIAISE COST Action Working Groups 1 and 2 convened in Skopje to make significant progress on the joint deliverable D1.4 – Technical and Non-Technical Barriers. This collaborative effort aims to identify key obstacles and develop strategies to address them, ensuring greater impact and innovation in the field.

The meeting brought together experts from diverse backgrounds who shared their insights and expertise to address challenges linked to industrial symbiosis and sustainability. By examining both technical and non-technical barriers, the group is working to provide actionable recommendations that will support industries, policymakers, and researchers in adopting more sustainable practices.

🤝 In addition to advancing D1.4, participants explored joint working strategies to foster further collaboration between the two WGs. Discussions covered opportunities for new research projects, scientific publications, and initiatives to strengthen synergies between members. By leveraging their combined knowledge, WG1 and WG2 aim to unlock innovative solutions that address critical industry challenges.
