Almudena Muñoz, the Action Chair of the LIAISE COST Action, made a significant contribution to the EU Circular Week in Warsaw, actively participating in two key events highlighting the future of Industrial Symbiosis and sustainable living.

On October 22, Almudena served as a jury member in the “Industrial Symbiosis for Circular Economy” event, where she evaluated student projects focused on driving circular business transformation through Industrial Symbiosis. As part of this event, Almudena also presented the LIAISE COST Action, sharing its mission to advance Industrial Symbiosis across Europe through research, collaboration, and practical implementations.

The following day, on Wednesday, October 23, Almudena participated as a panelist at the European Sustainability Congress, specifically in the session “Healthy Environment for Healthy Life.” This session emphasized the critical link between environmental health and human well-being. Almudena provided insights from the perspective of Industrial Symbiosis, discussing how sustainable industrial practices can positively impact both environmental and public health.

Through her contributions, Almudena underscored the role of LIAISE COST Action in fostering a more sustainable and symbiotic industrial landscape in Europe. Her involvement highlights the importance of collaborative efforts in achieving a Circular Economy and a healthier future.
