We are still feeling the excitement from the successful completion of our very first independent Training School, organized by LIAISE COST Action in Tirana this week. Over the course of three days (from 17th to 19th March), the event took place at the European University of Tirana, generously hosted by our COST Action member Ina Keçi, who welcomed us to her university and ensured everything ran smoothly.

“This Training School is a testament to our commitment to advancing knowledge in Industrial Symbiosis. Thanks to the dedication of our trainers and the engagement of our participants, we have taken a significant step forward in building a strong foundation for future learning.” – Ina Keçi, European University of Tirana

The Training School covered essential concepts related to Industrial Symbiosis, aiming to provide students with foundational knowledge on this crucial topic. The agenda included a range of insightful sessions led by four dedicated trainers: Ina Keçi, Natalija Cudečka-Puriņa, Theo Zacharis and Berna Kirkulak-Uludag. Their expertise and engaging teaching style greatly enriched the participants’ learning experience.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our 13 enthusiastic participants from 9 countries, whose active engagement and curiosity contributed to the event’s success. Special thanks go to our exceptional trainers for sharing their knowledge and insights:

This Training School marks a significant milestone for LIAISE COST Action, and we are excited to announce that more Training Schools will be organized in the coming months to further expand knowledge and skills in Industrial Symbiosis.

Stay tuned for upcoming events as we continue to promote learning and collaboration in this vital field!
